Activate IB Key

Once IBKR Mobile is installed on your , you need to "Register Two-Factor" to activate the IB Key security protocol. You perform this operation entirely on your phone.

Note: Internet access is required for activation.

To activate IBKR Mobile Two-Factor Authentication on your phone

Open IBKR Mobile.
If prompted that "IBKR Mobile" Would Like to Send You Notifications, tap Allow.
From the main screen, tap Register Two-Factor.
Enter your IB account login credentials (username and password) and tap Continue.
Select or add a phone number. By default the number associated with your user account is selected. Tap Get Activation .
An SMS message will be sent to your phone with your Activation Token. Enter the code and tap Activate. Note that depending on your service, it may take up to three minutes for the activation code to be received.
Enter your Touch ID or passcode to complete the activation.
