Global Symbol Search

The Search icon in the top right corner of each page allows you to search for an instrument regardless of where you are within the app. Within certain pages, the Search feature will first search within the content of that page, and then perform an instrument search.

To search for an instrument

1. Tap the Search icon.
2. Enter the underlying symbol or company name.
3. If applicable, tap one of the search categories below the entry field to further target the results.
4. Tap to select a financial instrument from the list.

Note:  If you search for an instrument that is currently in your Watchlist, the option to "Go to instrument in Watchlist" will be the first entry in the list.

To speed up your search, use Search Settings to filter out financial instrument types you don't trade and do not want returned in the search.

Define Search Settings by tapping the overflow icon to the right of the search entry field and then tapping Search settings.
